Hair:  Sequence offers several different grades of human hair for their Sequencing® process, including Asian, European and a blend of some of the different grades. The higher the quality of hair, the higher the price.

Sequence has a very unique procedure for making hair fuller and longer. First they take what is called a Sequence Blending Strand®, which is a very strong transparent filament that looks like a strand of hair. They attach the human hairs one at a time dispersed apart from each other to the Sequence Blending Strand®. A specially designed instrument with a fine hook on the end is used to attach each strand and they are hand tied to the Sequence Blending Strand®.

It takes from approximately 6 weeks to prepare the custom strands for each client.
Attachment:  Once the blending strands are made, they are attached to the natural hair using a linking system. The natural hair can be as little as 1-inch long to attach a Sequence Blending Strand®.

Each Sequence Blending Strand® is wrapped around 5 or 6 strands of the natural hair and secured with a tiny little anchor the size of a pin head. It sort of looks like tiny little pony tails. It can take between 3-4 hours to blend in a full head of hair. Clients must return every month or so (depending on how fast their hair grows) to have the hair re-secured. They do not need to be removed. The system can last between 3-4 years.

Sequencing™ is only available at the New Jersey location. Consultations are now available over the phone.  Please call 1 888 BLEND 88 to receive your free, private consultation over the telephone.
Additional Systems: Sequence offers two other forms of attachment for the Sequencing™ procedure. The products can be ordered and attached by your stylist or there is one you can attach yourself.
Comb Lock: This is a do-it-yourself attachment.

Costs:  Average costs for medium quality hair, average density and length start from $1500-3600. The maintenance visits run $60. Higher quality hair will result in higher prices. The costs may be higher than most extensions, but keep in mind that this system will last for 3-4 years.
Maintenance:  Clients are told to treat their new hair style as they would their own hair. Use shampoos, conditioners, blow dryers, flat irons, etc as you would for your own hair.
