Racoon Hair Extensions

Hair:  Racoon offers two different grades of human hair:  European cuticle hair- more expensive and Far Eastern processed hair-less expensive. The European hair can be color-matched to your own hair. A line of 69 synthetic fiber hair colors is also available. If the hair is properly maintained, it can be re-used.

Attachment:  A specially formulated bonding agent (made from a mixture of completely harmless natural and synthetic compounds, including orange peel and pine kernel extracts) is added to the extension hair and then molded to the natural hair using a silicone rubber pad.

The extension hair is sealed into the receiving section to form the bond. A full head of extensions can take between 3-4 hours to attach, and will last 3-4 months. The Racoon System and products are patented.

Removal of the extensions is done with a non-damaging solvent.

Costs:  Average costs range from $350-1100 USD and up depending on what you are having done. A few highlights will not be as expensive as a full head.

Maintenance:  Specific maintenance routines will be detailed by your stylist. Monthly visits to your stylist are recommended.  Special care tips include separating the bonds before washing and wearing a cap while swimming to avoid exposure to chlorine. Racoon offers its own line of hair care products, called EXTEND, developed specifically for hair extensions.
