Hair: All hair is processed at Hair & Compounds factories. European bulk hair can be custom ordered in multiple textures, lengths, colors and blends.
European hair is sold by the ounce or by weft extension.  Origins include India, Russia and European countries.  The hair can be ordered pre-tipped with a polyamide hot melt, hand-tied, wefts, bulk or with an I-tip (cylinder).

Attachment Process:
Poly Remi Hair Extensions:  The Poly adhesives demonstrate excellent bond strength and high heat resistance. Its medium viscosity and open time make it very user friendly for both application and removal.  The bond on the end of the extension hair is heated and attached to the natural hair.

Cylinder Hair Extensions: The Cylinder extensions have a finely engineered tip that will not crack or shed and can be re-attached numerous times.   The root tips are not only fused together but have an encapsulated the tip in a protective shield. This creates a permanent tip that will not crack or shed no matter how many times it has been flattened within the attachment tube.  The tip will remain strong and flexible and more importantly can be easily reshaped back into a cylinder! No extra glue or additional time required for a reattachment. Direct hot air from a hair dryer on the flattened tips and they will revert to the original cylinder shape.

The extensions can take from 2-6 hours or more to attach, depending on the skill of the stylist and the amount of extensions being attached.  The extensions will last for a minimum of 3 months.  Most hair can be re-used for up to 1 year or more as long as it is properly maintained.

Costs:  Cost vary depending on the stylist, location, amount and type of hair extensions attached.

Maintenance:  Avoid pulling, bending and conditioning the hair extensions within the first 24 hours. The bond continues to harden and reaches its maximum strength after 24 hours.  Avoid long term contact with styling products that contain oils and alcohols. The polymer is both oil and chemical resistant but err on the side of caution.
Brushing and combing above the bond with hard bristles can cause hair to pull out and the bond will begin peeling.  You do not need to avoid high heat hair dryers.  The new polymer can withstand direct hot air on the bonds without softening.
Hair & Compounds recommends their own Ionix Line of hair care products specifically designed for the care of extension hair.
