Hair:  Ultratress™ uses 100% Remi human hair that is processed in hair supply factories. Stylists purchase human hair directly from Ultratress™. Hair is guaranteed to be 100% human, tangle free hair. It is not recommended to bleach the extension hair.

Attachment:  Ultratress II™: A medical grade adhesive tape is used to
sandwich the extension hair between the natural hairs. It is recommended that hair be a minimum of 5-6-in. long to attach these extensions. An entire head of extensions can be attached in less than two hours and they will last for up to 8 weeks.

Removal of the Ultratress II™ extensions is done with a specially formulated Liquid Release product that is put directly on the tape and allows for removal. The hair cannot be re-used.

UltraStrands™: Extension hair is pre-tipped with a color-matched polyester bond material. The bond is gently heated and then molded into the natural hair. Natural hair should be about 10-in. long to attach these extensions.

An entire head of extensions can be attached in 2-4 hours. The extensions can last 3-6 months depending on how fast your hair grows and how well you maintain your hair extensions.

Removal of the UltraStrands™ is done with an acetone solvent that is sprayed directly on the bonds. The solvent actually disintegrates the bond material allowing for quick removal of the extensions.

Costs:   Average costs for the UltratressII™ extensions are $500 + up;
UltraStrands™ extensions run $1000 + up.
Maintenance:  Ultratress™ requires the use of its hair care products.
Hot appliances such as blow dryers, curling irons, flat irons are OK to use as long as the bond is not directly touched with the heat.
